ここは、工芸と現代の感性が交わる場所です。

私が選ぶのは、長い年月、多くのモノを見てきた眼で選び抜いた、独自の表現に辿り着いた作家たちの、鋭い視点と熱量が宿る「作品」。

大阪・箕面の風情ある長屋。

沖縄工芸を中心に手仕事のぬくもりが宿る品々を揃えた1階と、作家の個展や企画展を開催する2階のギャラリー「La Galerie Ajimaya」。

ここにある風景が「普通」に見えるなら、それは私の計算通り。

しかしそこにあるのは、二度と同じものには出会えない一期一会の出逢いです。

ここで偶然出会った一点が、あなたの暮らしを少しだけ変えてくれたら、それでいい。

Where Crafts & Modern Sensibilities Meet

"Ajima" means "intersection" in the Okinawan dialect.

This is where traditional craftsmanship meets contemporary sensibility.

This is not a souvenir shop.

While we respect the tradition of Mingei (folk art), those treasures belong in their own dedicated spaces.

Located in a charming traditional townhouse in Minoh, Osaka, our space features selected contemporary crafts centered on Okinawan art on the 1st floor, and our gallery space "La Galerie Ajimaya" on the 2nd floor for solo and special exhibitions.

Here, we curate only the works of individual artists who have found their own unique voice. Each piece is a testament to their sharp vision and intense passion, selected through eyes refined by decades of observing the essence of objects.

If this space feels "ordinary" to you, then my calculation is a success. But look closer, and you will find a once-in-a-lifetime encounter that can never be replicated.

If a single piece found here changes your daily life even just a little, that is all I ask.
